Alex - His interests are wide, he is a Amateur Extra Ham radio licensee, maintains a FAA Part 107 License for commercial UAS operations, avid shooter,  prefers the outdoors to the city. Whenever he can get away will spend time outside whether in the desert or the forests. 

Though he works full time he spends as much free time as possible with his kids, family and girlfriend.

He is the father of Ben, Emily and Dakota these best kids he could have.

 Carina Cost is the proud mother of Alex and Chris. Born in the Netherlands, she immigrated to the United States at age 12 when her father, a physicist Bernard, was recruited by Motorola, he held several patients in microchip design. Growing up between two cultures shaped Carina’s outlook—rooted in Dutch practicality and American optimism. She carries that blend into everything she does: family first, a love of learning, and a quiet determination inherited from a scientist’s household and an immigrant’s journey. 

Hi! My name is Emily, and I’m 10 years old. I’m in 5th grade, and my favorite subjects are writing and math. I usually get all A’s, and I’m really proud of that! I love helping at my church, CCV, in the 3–4-year-olds’ room 2 in Anthem, AZ. It’s so much fun spending time with the little kids.

Some of my favorite things are the color purple, elephants, off-roading with my family, and helping my dad when things get in the way. I also love art, creating things, organizing, dancing, and practicing Karate. My favorite books are from the I Survived series because they’re full of adventure and excitement.

In conclusion, I love off-roading the most — it’s always an adventure!

I groaned as we packed up the truck—again. It felt like we’d been getting ready for hours. My dad was checking the tires, Emily was running around with Kota, and I just wanted to hit the trail already. I didn’t really know how to help, so I mostly watched and waited, kicking at the rocks on the road and hoping we’d be done soon. 

Finally, after what felt like forever, we were off. The second the tires hit the dirt, I felt a rush of excitement. The road bounced and shook us around, but I didn’t care—I was having too much fun. The desert stretched out in front of us, all dusty and wide, with little trails twisting off in every direction. It felt quiet and mysterious, like there were secrets hiding behind every turn. By the time we stopped, I couldn’t stop smiling. 

I thought off-roading was just about driving, but it’s really about the adventure—the noise, the bumps, the laughs, and even the waiting. That’s the day I realized I actually love it. In the end I should’ve trusted my dad and uncle/Chris it was going to be fun and it was.

Hi! My name is Dakota, and I’m 10 years old. One of my favorite things to do with my family is go off-roading. I love the adventure and the fun we have together! Another thing I enjoy is working at my church, CCV. I help in the 3-4-year-olds room, and I’m assigned to Room 2, just like my big sister Emily. 

The church really appreciates the help, especially during busy weekends like BBQ weekend! Recently, my uncle signed me up for karate with my cousin, Ryker. I wanted to do karate not only to spend time with my cousin but also to learn self-defense. I think it’s important to know how to protect myself and others in case of an emergency. I also love organizing and cleaning with my sister. I like to clean when I choose to do it, not when I’m told—but it always feels great when everything is neat and tidy! 

Story Time: When I was little, my dad had a truck that I was obsessed with. My mom told him he couldn’t keep it or she would sell it, so he got rid of it the next day. Before it was gone, I kissed the truck and said, “Goodbye, truck. Love you!” Fast forward to now—my dad has a bigger truck, and he’s even happier than before.
